Part community manager and part developer advocate, you will collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google. You will write sample code and client libraries and participate in developer forums, supporting queues to troubleshoot and debug coding challenges developers encounter. Additionally, you will work with Product Engineering teams, conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs, and testing new features.
As a Developer Programs Engineer, you will help developers bring their games to the largest number of Android devices possible with the highest quality, sharing solutions through Game SDK functions, samples, and developer education pieces. In this role, you will incorporate insights into the Android ecosystem with the Android Engineering teams, OEMs and SOC designers/manufacturers, and game engine ecosystems, using engines similar to Unity, Unreal and CryEngine.
