The Amazon Robotics Human Machine Interaction Team develops perception systems that streamline workflows in Amazon FCs. You will be part of a team that builds software and hardware solutions that employ computer vision (CV) and machine learning (ML) to improve the human machine interface with the AR system. As a software development engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of a complex software system. You will be working with a cross-functional team to prototype, design, and develop software solutions that span both edge-compute and cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate is passionate about new opportunities and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new and foundational products and features. A commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance software products requires technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of computer science and software engineering, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.
