Do you want to work on the team that is responsible for one of the fastest growing areas of Microsoft Azure - Linux and Open Source workloads on Azure? Join Azure Compute Linux/OSS/SAP PM team to have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects which span many teams, include direct interaction with internal and external customers, partners, and Linux distro vendors!

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
* At least 5 years of product management or equivalent experience
* Linux and/or OSS expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong technical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
* Experience troubleshooting complex technical problems, documenting process and providing feedback to the development teams on it
* Ability to define, justify and measure business goals and drive execution across teams where necessary
* Ability to learn on the job with necessary breadth and depth where required

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

As a member of the team you will help define strategic investments in areas of enterprise Linux and OSS workloads on Azure. You will drive execution and assist internal and external teams and partners in onboarding, tuning, defining business investments and features for well-known and specialized Linux/OSS/SAP workloads. Our team runs a number of projects including SAP on Azure, building first-class Linux and OSS experiences on Azure. Our external partners include companies like Red Hat, SAP, Pivotal, GitHub, HashiCorp, Oracle and others to name a few.

This is a fast-paced, highly technical hands-on position. You must have a passion for customers, technology, excellent oral and written communications skills, and strong technical skills.
