Are you interested in working at the intersection of cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT) Devices, Machine Learning (ML) and wireless communication? As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be part of the larger leadership community at AWS IoT. This community plays a critical role in the planning, tracking and delivery of innovative new solutions for our long-term technical and business strategy. You will be seen as the subject matter expert for your area of focus within AWS IoT Devices organization. You will manage and be responsible for delivering strategic technical projects, and have a significant impact on customer and partner experience, on our business and competitive position.

In this role, you will draw upon technical architecture, deployment and project management skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a passion for building large-scale software systems. You should be self-directed and open to new challenges, able to deal with ambiguity, adept at prioritization, innovation, and getting along with others. You will drive the exploration of complex technical needs, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and software development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions. You will interact with a broad cross-section of the Amazon organization, spanning a wide range of technologies, and engaging with external partners and internal teams.

You will:

* Work closely with business stakeholders - including product managers, other program managers, technical teams, executives, partners and customers. Coordinate activities across multiple teams.
* Manage medium to large projects - Plan and execute technical development in an Agile software development environment. Track dependencies, report progress.
* Lead Operations - Including monitoring and response to customer feedback, continuous improvement and business growth.
* Perform - Participate in the design and implementation of novel technical solutions. Ensure timely delivery and highest quality software implementation that is aligned with product goals and requirements.
* Influence senior leaders across Amazon and communicate the the team's vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact.
* Write Technical Documents - targeting audiences from technical teams to executives, partners and customers, program status reports to stake holders including executives.
