Job Description

Bethesda Game Studios is looking for a skilled Senior Monetization Designer with a passion for making compelling monetization systems. The candidate will work closely with the development team (including design, art, engineering, analytics, platform, community) to create and shepherd the development of monetization features for a live game.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain new monetization and gameplay systems for a live game
* Work closely with the design team to identify monetization system needs and solutions
* Coordinate with the art team on the creation and integration of game-ready assets for the Store
* Support the monetization team in driving regular updates to the in-game Store
* Work with analytics team to review the success of current systems and initiatives as well as propose new solutions
* Mentor junior members of the monetization team with an eye towards growth

Requirements

* 5+ total years of experience in any design role with at least 1 shipped AAA title
* At least 2+ years as a monetization designer or similar role in the gaming industry
* Excellent knowledge of the monetization of online games
* Knowledge and understanding of game design fundamentals
* Creative problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize efforts
* Strong communication and writing skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and confidential environment
* Passion for making great games
* Strong desire to continue to learn and grow

Desired Skills

* Experience with data visualization tools
* Shooter and/or RPG game experience
* Experience in multiplayer games
* Strong mathematical, statistics, and analytical skills
* Additional design experience in non-monetization systems
