What you'll be doing...

Responsible for the IT architecture and design in the emerging technology area including defining the operational process for testing, implementation and management of the solutions; engage and ideate with the Business and Technology stakeholders in identifying the critical use cases and problems and apply emerging technology and analytics solutions to solving these problems; write business cases, proposals, conduct cost benefit analyses and articulate the problems and potential solutions to a diverse audience; work on vendor management and conduct proofs of concept with suppliers; provide technical program management for IT development and key IT Transformation Initiatives; work on the standards, objectives, and roadmaps and align with key partners and stakeholders towards the delivery of strategic and tactical business goals; assist senior management in the IT architecture design area particularly in the move towards cloud computing, DevOps framework as well as open source technology adoption; implement IT infrastructure and operations direction, facilitate key decision points and drive integration with various systems; deliver results within budget, time, and quality and in keeping with strategic and tactical key performance goals; work with the wider teams and provide support from an IT organization standpoint; represent the company in industry forums and present the work being done in the emerging technology space; work on process improvement initiatives to improve IT and business processes.

What we're looking for...

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Electronic or Computer Engineering, or a related field followed by 12 years of progressive experience with the IT software development lifecycle in the telecom industry, including business analysis, solution architecture, network design and architecture, enterprise IT system architecture and design, project or program management, business process management, product design and development, applications design, development, testing and operations including operational support and business support systems. Experience therein to include 8 years in wireline enterprise networking domain; 5 years with business transformation and process improvement activities; and 4 years with 3G/4G wireless networks including wireless network architecture, SIM card design and handset configuration. Requires PMP or Prince2 certification, and Six Sigma certification. Also requires travel in the US for up to 10% of work time.
