Are you excited about working on a new AI product that augments humans who need to reason with unstructured information?

The AI Architecture & Strategy team is well on its way to create this breakthrough product in long-term partnership with a handful of the largest enterprises globally. The product harvests, creates and harnesses a diverse range of AI models and automatically makes their output intelligible to humans on demand. Our product design point is to help people make sense of information buried in mountains of documents, conversations, photos, videos, 2D and 3D scans, molecular and genetic representations, and emerging device and sensor signals.

Successful candidates must have:

(Required)

* Designed and delivered applications that are performant, reliable and secure for millions of users.
* At least eight years of designing, implementing, and shipping a cloud service, preferably in Azure.
* Deep knowledge of C#, Javascript and/or Python development from high-level architecture to low-level optimizations.
* Proven track record of collaborative design in a highly interactive team environment, mentoring
* Passion for architecture and design that stands the test of time.
* Deep customer empathy, ability and love for running live site for a system.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, willing and ability to mentor other developers.

(Preferred)

* Previous background in products involving deep learning.
* Experience in building cloud services operating over big data.

As a principal software architect in the AI Architecture & Strategy team, you will:

* Build and operate cloud services for executing artificial intelligence (AI) models.
* Scale such systems using azure infrastructure featuring compute, service fabric, kubernetes, hadoop etc.
* Co-own decisions on overall vision and architecture for a complex product that services multiple customers, in different business domains.
* Work with the leadership team to specify directions, make critical decisions, built product roadmap and set quantifiable objectives for the team.
* Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders and external/internal partners to achieve mutual goals.
* Explain your work, ask good questions, listen and learn from peers, partners and customers.
