Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking System Engineers for our Azusa, CA facility!

A successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistency across architectures & algorithm development, requirement, allocations, capabilities, design integration, external and internal interfaces, test, and verification process products to support upcoming program milestones. This role supports a portfolio of highly visible and strategic problems. The Systems Engineer (SE) ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The Systems Engineer will ensure the system level requirement allocation and interface definition studies are translated from customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. The systems engineer will continuously innovate and work on solutions across various SE tools to ensure consistency and efficiency between program goals and process.

This position requires and SCI clearance with SSBI performed within the last 3 years.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of related engineering experience, or (STEM) Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
* MS Office Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret Level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years



Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience and knowledge of Rational DOORS
