Job Description

Lead Gameplay Engineer

Glu Mobile is looking for a Lead Engineer to help bring the magic of Disney Sorcerer's Arena to life. This engineer will work with design, art, and other game teams to build new and exciting experiences for players. We're looking for someone who has a passion for games and a desire to work with others solving difficult but exciting problems.

Responsibilities

* Work cross discipline to design, build, and deliver new features to a recently released game
* Build and expand systems/tools to improve development
* Prototype new ideas and games for the studio
* Work with other teams, both internal and external, to discuss new technologies

Requirements:

* Shipped a game with C# and Unity
* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
* Shipped 2+ games or equivalent
* Client/server application architecture experience
* Profiling and optimizing for performance experience

Preferences:

* C++, Golang, Postgres, and/or Typescript experience
* 3D rendering and/or shader experience
* Mobile game development experience
* Tool/pipeline development experience
