Job Description

Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal twelve years in a row, is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our IT Department team at our Novato corporate office.

In a team-oriented environment, the IT Support Technician will be responsible to provide operational and technical support both onsite and though remote access tools to computer users, with a primary focus on installing and configuring personal computers, printers, and peripheral equipment in a networked environment. Assist System Administrators with support and maintenance of server, voice and storage systems.

Essential Duties:

* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various computer equipment, peripherals, and data communications, and network systems.
* Provide end user support via remote assistance and telephone.
* Document incoming helpdesk requests using internal ticketing system.
* Maintain user accounts and databases.
* Assist in the implementation of IT services as guided by senior IT staff.
* Troubleshoot network and desktop performance issues.
* Support and enforce company information policies and procedures.
* Assist in maintaining software inventory and tagged asset management.
* Assist in administering the telephone system and all user handsets.
* Assist in creating or updating end user support documents.
* Other duties may be assigned.

Professional / Educational Experience: Minimum 2+ years of IT experience in a directed environment. 2+ years experience supporting a Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office applications. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
