Position Summary

Functional Analysts are responsible for: understanding the requirements of users; understanding requirements for team/domain specific systems; developing specifications representing both user interface and data interface requirements; interfacing with the vendor on technical and non-technical issues, providing input into designs; and assisting with the configuration of team/domain specific applications. The work will include interfacing with our Vendors, Business Stakeholders, IT Infrastructure and Development teams to ensure the requirements met and new applications, services, software are properly represented and deployed into production. Additional items include the design, testing, deployment and maintenance of our supported business applications and services.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

* Designs, establishes and maintains full operation of non-prod and production environments for test, dev, and QA.
* Works with QA and PO Teams to ensure each release is properly tested.
* Maintains the Book of Work for the vendor.
* Possesses good organizational, time, and project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay well organized.
* Ensures proper monitoring is implemented and support for your area.
* Manages release cycles with vendors.
* Develops and maintains training and support documentation for GHS support and end-users.
* Supports Knowledge Base articles for internal and external users for aide in troubleshooting, training, and other areas as defined.
* Runs Agile work streams within Costco, GHS and its vendors.
* Partners with the User Experience team to build new features.
* Keeps up to date on the latest industry trends in Healthcare mobile technology.
* Explains technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Maintains ownership of vendor relationship.

Experience, skills, education & licenses/certifications

Required:

* Possesses good organizational, time, and project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay well organized.
* Provide 2nd and 3rd level support with vendor and Costco incident management applications.
* Current work experience or 2-5 years of web or mobile app experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, which includes excellent customer service skills. Ability to present complex ideas and designs to a variety of technical or non-technical stakeholders and all levels of management.
* Must be able to demonstrate management of vendors.
* Needs to have demonstrated strong organizational qualities, being meticulous and detail oriented.
* Positive attitude with good interpersonal skills, a team player; Able to work cooperatively with others, sharing ideas and collaborating to obtain team goals.
* Ability to adjust positively to change in direction or assignments and able to work in a fast paced and dynamic team environment.
* Demonstrates a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization while effectively teaching and mentoring other members of the GHS teams.
* Able to work well under stress and handle crisis situations professionally while engaging all levels of the Costco organization.
* Good problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Must have proven ability to manage priorities and timelines.
* Must be extremely responsive, with a strong sense of urgency.
* Responsible, conscientious, self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.

Recommended:

* Understanding of Pharmacy, Optical and Hearing Aid a plus.
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for transactions, security and confidentiality.
* Functional knowledge of Costco mobile and web site.
* Basic knowledge of mobile user interface
* Knowledge of Pharmacy Application will be beneficial
* Knowledge of Smartsheets is useful
* Basic Knowledge of SQL Databases
* Successful internal candidates will have spent one year or more on their current team.
