Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Laurel, MD.

Job Description:

Provide engineering support to a Software Design and Development team that will engineer, configure, performance tune, efficiently diagnose, and repair issues with all aspects of the Event Warehouse (EWH) and Content Warehouse (CWH) large scale computer clusters. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to performing software change request management (triage/work break down), serving as technical representative at project review and design meetings, and serving as technical liaison between Tier 1 help desk and Tier 3 software development staff. Participate in or lead efforts in support of agile software development. Additionally, support the Task Order Lead with any formal contractual reporting requirements (i.e., Award Fee).

This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:

* 2 years Experience in the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems
* Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operations and interface standards, developing systems architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis, two (2) years of which shall have been on NSA projects
* Shall have one (1) year of experience in the SIGINT environment

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

* 5 years Experience in the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems
* Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operations and interface standards, developing systems architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis, two (2) years of which shall have been on NSA projects
* Shall have one (1) year of experience in the SIGINT environment

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional system engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in evaluating project needs, determining tasks and durations and advising on resource allocation.
* Experience using agile and/or spiral development models.
* Experience in developing documentation required to support a program's technical issues and training situations; Demonstrated technical writing skills.
* Knowledge and experience with the following:

o Apache Hadoop

o Apache Accumulo

o Apache Nifi

o Git/GitHub

o Atlassian Jira/Confluence

o HAProxy

o Kubernetes

o ELK Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
