Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, train, and implement the Configuration Management (CM) process and procedures as part of the System Integration (SI) Team on the Integrated Personnel and Pay system-Army (IPPS-A). Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) as required by the program. Responsible for identifying, documenting and baselining Configuration Items (CIs) for the program. Conduct Baseline Configuration Audits (BCAs) prior to each test events and conduct CM Verification & Validation (V&V) for non-testing environments

Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) as required by the program. Responsible for identifying, documenting and baselining Configuration Items (CIs) for the program. Conduct Baseline Configuration Audits (BCAs) prior to each test events and conduct CM Verification & Validation (V&V) for non-testing environments. Responsible for maintaining configuration control for baseline environments. Responsible for ensuring all changes to the process methods and processes are properly approved, communicated and managed throughout the CM lifecycle.

Submit monthly CM Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents and as required for Technical Reviews. Process/approve PeopleSoft and Non-PeopleSoft Change/Service Requests (CSRs) for migration to various environments us STAT. Facilitate and distribute meeting minutes for Engineering Change Review Board (ECRB) as required. Participate in Technical Review Boards (TRBs) as required. Conduct analysist of hardware and software inventory data that are produced by the data centers for accuracy and completeness.

Provides CM input as request to program documents

Requirements:

* 5-7 years of IT systems configuration management analysis experience in a large enterprise environment
* 1+ year of experience in deployment automation and configuration of tools.(SVN, Jenkins, knowledge of Chef & Puppet)
* Demonstrable experience with configuration management deliverables (Configuration Management Plan, Functional and Physical Configuration audit reports)
* Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies
* Ability to collaborate well with stakeholders (work closely with the stakeholders)
* 1-2 years of experience in Database/Object oriented programming concepts and SQL.(PL/SQL Scripting and knowledge of Oracle databases)
* Knowledge of PeopleSoft tools is preferred
* Active Secret clearance
* Bachelors degree
