Designs, implements, and maintains the organization's application systems and/or IT infrastructure for complex systems. Provides an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. Understands user and process requirements and ensures those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Works closely with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and to ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure. Ensures that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements. Understands the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions for complex systems. Analyzes systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements. May assist less experienced peers. ManTech is seeking Capability Integration Office/Enterprise Architect to join our team DODAF architect to support our growing Marine Corps programs in Quantico, VA.ManTech International Corporation provides innovative engineering and systems integration services that help our customers solve their toughest, most intractable problems. National defense and homeland security clients depend on our rapid, cost-effective development of adaptable, interoperable, integrated solutions that provide high performance in quick-response scenarios.This positions requires an active TS/SCI HCS/G with polygraph.Work location is Quantico, VA Required Skills:Five to ten years total job experience with two to three years experience as a Capability Integration Office/Enterprise Architect in the operation and execution of the JCIDS/Federal Enterprise Architecture Process. A Federal Enterprise Architecture Certification (FEAC) is desired but not required. General Responsibilities: Evaluate business processes and support systems and provide systems engineering discipline in the design, development, and deployment of integrated software products. Develop DOD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) views, and assess and enhance mechanisms for communicating information for all interfaces of the software products. Develop recommendations for processes and disciplines to gather and organize the data and construct the views to enhance integrity and accuracy. Develop and maintain DoDAF artifacts (i.e., framework design documents) that describe the features and function of existing or to be USMC, DON, DOD, and Federal systems. Provide recommendations for the inclusion of new systems and capabilities, such as the implementation of a highly mobile information environment. Develop and maintain DoDAF artifacts that describe the business processes that support the USMC, DON, and DOD communities for the purposes of better aligning resources to mission needs and reducing duplicative efforts. Ensures conformance and reuse of information, architecture artifacts, models, and viewpoints can be shared with common understanding. Conformance is expected in both the classified and unclassified communities. Responsible for these sample deliverables: Deliverable 4.47: Software Evaluation, Deliverable 4.48: DoDAF Views, Deliverable 4.49: DoDAF Enhancement Recommendations, Deliverable 4.50: DoDAF Artifacts, and Deliverable 4.51: Enterprise Architecture Enhancement Recommendations).
