Job Description

Midwest Valve Services, a Novaspect Company, has an exciting opportunity for an Actuation / Isolation Team Lead to join our fast-paced, customer-oriented team in our Minooka, IL location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership for the Midwest Valves Services - Minooka team; including team development, mentorship and daily operational guidance.
* Help direct daily workflow to ensure jobs remain on schedule and budget
* Provide peer and OTJ technical training of Midwest Valve Services Technicians
* Create technician's work schedule with the support of the Shop Manager
* Ensure that all repair documentation is completed and meets all customer and/or company requirements
* Hold the team accountable for shop organization and cleanliness
* Train and supervise repairs to ensure they are being performed in accordance to the Midwest Valve Services QA manual.
* Collaborate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers.
* Actively participates with team members to achieve company goals.
* Be a positive advocate for our new mobile asset management tool and IFS Apps 10
* Support the Repair Coordinator throughout the quoting process, as needed
* Maintain equipment preventative maintenance program
* Assist team in all facets of actuation and isolation valve repair
* Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years experience in Actuation and/or Isolation Valve repairs, preferred
* High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems).
