Who we are

Standard Bots builds the automation infrastructure that powers ambitious companies from small, hometown manufacturing, to massive operations including Amazon and NASA.

We focus on solving the hard problems in automation to allow our users to do what they do best; building great products and solutions.

Robotics and automation are inherently incredibly complex problem spaces, and our team of industry vets, dreamers, engineers, designers, and more focuses every day on delivering products and experience that blend disparate disciplines to create accessible solutions for our users.

The RO1
Our current hardware offering is the RO1 robot, which is an incredibly capable and flexible six axis robotic arm. The arm is designed and manufactured in house in our facilities in Glen Cove, New York.

Intuitive Software
Our software team focuses on delivering intuitive interfaces for our users to accomplish their automation goals. The RO1 is able to be controlled via an iPad or Web interface, and allows users to both directly control, as well as build no-code automations for their tasks.

Developer Platform
Companies looking to build products or complex offerings on top of the RO1 utilize our various developer APIs and SDKs to control the robot and gain access to our extended capabilities and integrations.

AI + Computer vision
While our robot is already highly capable and extensible, we know we're just at the beginning. Our AI and computer vision team focuses on delivering solutions to problems that have not previously been able to be solved in robotics. We seek to thread the line between ambitious capabilities and the high reliability requirements of industrial environments.
