RefundLabs is building a platform to automate the inventory claims process for third party e-commerce
merchants. We're an agile team run by programmers and based out of Manhattan, NY & we want your help!
To ensure efficient delivery and access to a large base of customers, many third party merchants send their inventory to e-commerce platforms such as Amazon. These platforms then handle delivery to the end customer.
Unfortunately, merchandise is frequently damaged or lost while it is in the care of such platforms. This can happen when inventory is transferred from warehouse A to warehouse B in anticipation of demand, when a warehouse is being reorganized, when a customer returns a defective product, or for a variety of other reasons. In fact, there are roughly 20 such cases. In each case, the third party merchant must file a detailed claims ticket in order to receive reimbursement for the lost or damaged inventory. This is tall task for many small and mid sized merchants who do not have the resources nor the operational transparency necessary to file claims in a timely manner.
This is where RefundLabs steps in! Using our automated system, we perform real-time analysis of large volumes of data, and identify situations where there is a high likelihood of a merchant reimbursement situation. We then file a claims ticket on behalf of the third party merchant so that they receive the money they deserve.
Using RefundLabs, third party merchants can optimize their inventory management process and reduce wastage from lost or damaged goods.
We'd like your help in building our core data analysis engine, as well as a responsive desktop-first web application to serve our clients (the third party merchants). All our positions are onsite at our offices in Manhattan, NY. We are primarily looking for a full-time developers/designers, but may be open to part-time work as well.
We are a small, fun, and high-energy team, and we look forward to talking to you!
