Plum is seeking bright, entrepreneurial individuals who are enthusiastic to make a meaningful impact on the growth of our company.
OUR CULTURE
We thoughtfully shape strategy and solve challenging problems through collaboration. There are no templates or old, established ways of doing things; we are creative and are always trying new ideas. We operate transparently and value communication and openness. We listen to and learn from one another.
We are family friendly, casual, flexible and fun! Our workplace is a dog friendly, airy, industrial loft in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District, close to all forms of public transportation.
OUR PEOPLE
We are a group of individuals who chose to abandon buttoned-up corporate life, brought our institutional experience to Plum, and now seek to build it into a massively successful company as well as a fantastic place to come to work. We are a team of multifaceted talents with the flexibility and willingness to contribute in any way necessary to take Plum to the next level.
Our people are a diverse group from all walks of life, we are inclusive, and we aspire to be one of the best places to work in San Francisco. We are surfers, hikers, volunteers, fly fishermen, Ironman competitors, foodies, travel buffs, and yogis. We speak English, Mandarin, Spanish, German, Malay, Russian, Romanian and Italian.
OUR COMPANY
The U.S. commercial real estate loan market is $3.3 trillion in size, and is an incredibly antiquated and opaque industry. Plum is leading the transformation of commercial real estate lending through innovative and breakthrough technology, pioneering the fintech movement in this space.
We are led by a CEO with decades of successful company-building experience, and the team includes former senior level executives and talent from Wells Fargo, KKR, Starwood Capital, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan. We have a combined 75 years of CRE lending experience in the U.S. with deal volume totaling over $50 billion. Team members have sourced and underwritten 1,570 small balance CRE loans across virtually all property types and geographic markets.
We also have as partners and advisors some of the most powerful, deeply experienced investors and influencers in financial technology.
