What we do:
We help people consolidate old pension plans into one low cost online pension account. The pension does not follow the person when moving jobs in the UK so millions are left with multiple pensions and no aggregated view of their data to help them make better decisions. We use machine learning, artificial intelligence and a smart comparison engine to aggregate the data and find our customers one better value plan in the market that will save them thousands in fees. Our team experience ranges from industry professionals to full stack developers and previously successful tech startup founders.

Where we are at:
We recently completed an intensive 3 month accelerator program in London called Startupbootcamp Insurtech and in that time we built and released our pension platform, we are currently in beta mode and helping customers find their old pension plans. The program also gave us the exposure we needed to raise funding and find partners. We are not just an app, we are solving real problems for millions of people that have lost track of their retirement money and empowering them to make better decisions. What has been the most significant advancement made over the last few months has been in the team. We have really gelled together and everybody has taken on the responsibility of delivering what they need to do to make this a success. Unfortunately our CTO is has had to make the difficult decision of leaving to deal with more important family health issues and so we are now looking for somebody to carry on his great work.

What we are looking for:
Ideally you have a masters degree in Computer Technology or equivalent proved working experience, but we require you to able to work independently and handle your own responsibilities.
You should be able to setup and maintain the infrastructure needed to run the project and scale it according to business needs (now we are using Github and Heroku).
We build our platform with Python and Django, but asking you to take the ownership of the development we are flexible to migrate to any language and framework, just consider that you'll be in charge of the migration. We said any but really all but PHP.
On the frontend we use old plain HTML along with a responsive framework (SCSS) and some Javascript (for now jQuery and d3.js for data visualization).
Bonus points if you have experience on UX and an eye for good UI.
We are using a BDD approach and Atlassian Suite, but again we are open to your ideas as soon as you can get things done with clear code, extensive tests and proper documentation.
