App.io is redefining mobile app advertising. We are streaming native iOS and Android apps from the cloud, directly to devices, where they appear inside playable ad units. These playable ad units increase app downloads with try-before-you-buy previews.

The right person will have strong experience with Javascript and Node.js and a passion for working with innovative technologies. In the role, you will be working with a stack that connects with services such as RabbitMQ and Redis, running across Ubuntu, OS X and Android.

You will be challenged by incredibly exciting projects rarely seen by other start-ups, working directly on high-performance, low-latency streaming algorithms and creating “so crazy it just might work” solutions.

Your day to day duties will include:
- Working as part of a small, agile team to design and implement new features and technologies
- Delivering high quality, high performance code in an agile environment
- Participating in daily ‘standup’ meetings with the team
- Being responsible for deadlines and readjusting deliverables based on high-level timelines

Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with JavaScript and Node.js
- Strong sense of ownership and track record of quality work
- Must be able to work in San Francisco
