Our Story

With over 30 current big customers and 26 countries served, and almost 400 employees worldwide, Alfa has been delivering successful projects since 1990, and is expanding rapidly throughout Europe, North America, Australasia and beyond. We listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2017. Our clients include top auto finance companies, equipment manufacturers and banks.

We’re looking for experienced Java developers to join our growing engineering group, either fully remote within the UK or flexibly between home and our London office.

Our 100+ team is made up of architects, developers, specialists and product owners so there are lots of talented people to collaborate with, learn from, as well as career moves into client-facing consultancy.

Technology at Alfa

We build mission-critical Java applications that run our clients’ asset finance portfolios at scale – tens of millions of contracts, tens of billions of dollars. Our consumer-facing digital products use React, and for high performance on the server we use Java, Groovy and best-in-class JVM libraries.

Our engineers continuously bring new approaches and technologies into all areas of our software, and we encourage this innovation from all team members.
